BPU Capacity
Biological Processing Units
Managed Capacity Blocks
What BPU Capacity Is
BPU Capacity represents reserved access to centrally managed biological processing infrastructure operated by CompostHubOnline. BPUs support soil biology, material conditioning, and biological continuity across the site.
BPU capacity is an operational allocation, not a retail product and not a promise of downstream output. Access is governed exclusively by contract.
BPU Profiles
BPU-V — Vermicompost Processing Capacity
BPU-V represents a reserved allocation of vermicompost processing capacity operated and managed by CompostHubOnline. The primary value of BPU-V is outsourced biological processing, not material purchase.
BPU-V allows purchasers to access vermicomposting capacity without constructing infrastructure, managing worms, handling feedstock logistics, or assuming operational and compliance risk at their own site.
This capacity converts a fragile, labor-sensitive subsystem into a defined operational allocation governed by contract.
Physical Material & Off-Site Use
BPU-V is a capacity allocation first. Any physical vermicompost material associated with a BPU-V allocation is secondary and conditional.
Where explicitly permitted by contract, material produced under a BPU-V allocation may be removed from the property and used off-site by the purchaser. No removal rights, quantities, timing, or material characteristics are implied unless stated in writing.
BPU-V does not constitute a retail compost sale, a guaranteed supply agreement, or a per-unit output contract.
What BPU-V Is Not
- A compost sales program
- A per-yard or per-ton product
- A yield or output guarantee
- A waste disposal or feedstock acceptance service
- A consumer or hobby offering
BPU-W — Worm Biomass Support Capacity
BPU-W represents a reserved allocation of worm biomass support capacity operated and managed by CompostHubOnline. The primary purpose of BPU-W is to maintain and stabilize biological systems that require active worm populations under controlled conditions.
BPU-W capacity allows purchasers to rely on centrally managed worm biomass without maintaining breeding stock, managing population health, or assuming biological loss risk at their own location.
This capacity exists to provide biological continuity and resilience within a managed agricultural system. It is not presented as a retail livestock or biomass sale.
Physical Biomass & Off-Site Use
BPU-W is a capacity allocation first. Any physical worm biomass associated with a BPU-W allocation is secondary and conditional.
Where explicitly permitted by contract, worm biomass produced or supported under a BPU-W allocation may be transferred off-site for permitted uses. No transfer rights, quantities, timing, survivability, or biological performance are implied unless stated in writing.
BPU-W does not constitute a retail sale of worms, a guaranteed supply arrangement, or a biological performance guarantee.
What BPU-W Is Not
- A retail worm sales program
- A guaranteed source of breeding stock
- A promise of population size or reproduction rate
- A livestock sale or delivery service
- A consumer or hobby-oriented offering
Relationship to SGU-5D Capacity
BPU systems exist to support the biology and stability of SGU-5D soil growth capacity. BPU capacity may be allocated independently or coordinated with SGU-5D blocks, depending on contract structure.
BPU capacity supports system function. It does not imply output quantities, material delivery schedules, or agricultural performance outcomes.
What You Are Contracting For
BPU capacity contracts define:
- Allocated BPU profile (BPU-V and/or BPU-W)
- Block size (defined by contract)
- Allocation window
- Operational boundaries and site rules
- Compliance and management responsibilities
Availability
BPU capacity is allocated by window and by contract. Availability varies and is not guaranteed.
For current availability or coordination with SGU-5D capacity, use the Contact page to request a BPU capacity discussion.
Request BPU Capacity Review
Use the Contact page and include:
- Requested BPU profile (BPU-V, BPU-W, or both)
- Desired block size or coordination needs
- Intended relationship to SGU-5D capacity (if applicable)
- Preferred allocation window
