SGU-5D Capacity

Soil Growth Units — Managed Capacity Blocks (30 / 50 / 100+)

The SGU-5D is a standardized Soil Growth Unit used to allocate managed soil growth capacity within a controlled, desert-adapted growing footprint.

This is a capacity offering, not a retail produce offer. The SGU-5D describes space, soil profile, and operational allocation, governed by contract.

An SGU-5D block is a reserved portion of managed soil growth capacity operated under a defined operating profile. Your contract determines:

  • Block size (30 / 50 / 100+)
  • Allocation window (when capacity is assigned)
  • Operating profile (what is permitted within the unit profile)
  • Management responsibilities and boundaries
  • Compliance terms and site rules

SGU-5D capacity is offered in blocks only:

  • 30-Unit Block — baseline minimum allocation
  • 50-Unit Block — standard operational block
  • 100+ Unit Block — institutional / multi-block allocation

Smaller quantities are not offered.

To prevent misunderstanding, SGU-5D capacity is not presented as:

  • Crop sales or crop contracts
  • Yield, harvest, or performance guarantees
  • Revenue projections or savings claims
  • A retail offer, subscription box, or consumer product

SGU-5D capacity exists in a desert agricultural environment and is operated within the Douglas Active Management Area context. Water use, irrigation practices, and operational decisions are managed as part of an overall agricultural system profile and contract terms.

This page is informational and does not modify or replace site-specific compliance requirements.

SGU-5D capacity is supported by on-site Biological Processing Units. These units exist to support the biology and stability of the system (for example: processing inputs, maintaining soil-biological continuity, and supporting soil quality management).

Biological Processing Units are presented as support infrastructure, not as a promise of agricultural output.

SGU-5D blocks are intended for:

  • Crop share operators and crop share sellers (capacity planning and continuity)
  • Institutions requiring consistent managed capacity
  • Groups seeking block-level allocations rather than retail transactions

Capacity is allocated by window. Availability can change without notice.

For current availability and block scheduling, use the Contact page and request an SGU-5D allocation discussion.

Use the Contact page and include the following so we can evaluate alignment and scheduling:

  • Requested block size (30 / 50 / 100+)
  • Intended use category (crop share seller / institution)
  • Desired allocation window
  • Any operational constraints you require (delivery access, scheduling, compliance)

Note: All terms are governed by contract. This page does not constitute an offer to sell goods or guarantee outcomes.
