Mushroom production is being developed as a controlled-environment food enterprise within the larger CompostHubOnline farm system.
Unlike the ranch’s outdoor growing areas, mushroom production creates an opportunity to manage temperature, humidity, sanitation, workflow, and production conditions within dedicated structures.
Mushrooms add another food-producing enterprise without requiring the same open-field footprint as conventional crops.
They also create opportunities to connect food production with organic material management and the farm’s broader feedstock cycle.
The developing plan calls for four 40-foot production containers for controlled mushroom production.
These are planned production units.

Commercial volume should follow repeatable production rather than precede it.
As production infrastructure develops, the farm will document operating methods, crop performance, handling, and market capacity.
